Fringe Programme - Days of Dutch Culture
Dates: 22 - 27 September Location: Baltic House Anouk van Dijk, Krisztina de
Châtel en Elshout & Händeler, the Dutch dance companies that will be part
of Days of Dutch Culture will present a fringe programme of lessons and
workshops to ... their performances. The lessons by Anouk van Dijk and Derrick
Brown (Krisztina de Châtel), are meant for dancers of the companies, but will
also be accessible for Russian dancers. Three workshops are part of
the fringe programme. Anouk van Dijk will lead a four-day workshop in which she
will explain her counter technique. In their three-day workshop, Elshout & Händeler
will start from the question: What moves you?. They will use the creativity of
the dancers will be the basis ... Derrick Brown, coach for Krisztina De Châtel
will present the dance companies remarkable style in a two-day workshop. At the start of the
performances, all dance companies will give a short introduction to their work.
On 23 and 24 September the choreographers will discuss Dutch dance and the place
