Eric van Grootel: Vincent, Madmen' s Blues

17 September, 18.00 hrs: The Dutch-Russian musical Vincent, Madmen' s Blues will take the audience on a journey through the various stages in the life of Vincent van Gogh. The script is based on the letter's of Vincent to his brother Theo, several biographies and texts about Van Gogh and Gauguin, and Phil Baker's book about absinthe. 

21 September, 16.00 hrs: Eric van Grootel will also give a lecture/workshop win which he will illustrate the meaning of Dutch culture by means of poetry and songs. He will perform folk songs and poems which have 'Holland' for a theme. The audience will be invited to participate.
